«Vucciria» is SeiOttavi's new show made by only voices. The main theme of the show is the suggestion of an ancient world that has its deep roots in the best known Italian musical tradition: the Opera. It takes inspiration not only from the music, but also from the mixture of music, costumes, colours and all elements that represent the «farce».

«Vucciria» is a surreal vocal Opera that arises around the idea of the market, as a place of exchange, experience, events, artistic expression, where a lot of different things coexist and are able to live in close contact. A place where everything is possible, where everything is Vuccirìa. SeiOttavi are the characters of a plot that mixes reality and fantasy, music and images, through the decomposition and recomposition of sound fragments, on the background of Palermo's famous ancient market Vucciria.

In this show SeiOttavi will perform a magical framework of the magnificent city of Palermo, represented by the sounds and colours of a melting pot of cultures.

"Canto e racconto De André" is a show, concert & reading, telling the sory of the most important italian singsong writer Fabrizio De Andrè, died 11 years old. Thanks to be De Andrè from Lucina, as she is a singsong writer. Songs from him repertory and adecdotecs about hs life. It sounds mediterranean because of the sicilian instruments. Flutes go around jazz and oriental arrangments. Massimo Sigillò Massara's voice remeber his voice.

Sei Ottavi enter one of the most popular Italian markets to tell a story of magic, music and colour.

Under a cloudy sky where the world feels black & white, a young lady wanders through the streets of the town. Outside a curiosity shop she sees herself in a mirror. Something makes her stop. Her reflection is much brighter and more colourful than in her world.

Curiosity draws Elisa closer to the mirror and with one touch she is in a new world.

Elisa-a modern Alice in wonderland- encounters weird and happy merchants (SeiOttavi) singing and living in a world where anything is possible, the apples dance and meat and fish fly.

SeiOttavi’s  Vucciria is made of colours, magic, mystery and dance. The market is crowded with acrobats, dancers, a wedding procession, charlatans, enchanting women, boxers from another era, extravagant characters, and of course fire-breathing.

Without realising the passing time, Elisa’s day is over and she is back in her own world... Or not?

It is a sum of 3 works by the artist singer- songwriter, inspired by the colors, heat, color of the Mediterranean Sea, the Dawn of Sicily, the wheat, the sun, the water and its absence. One woman show. The european tour started from the Auditorium of the Italian public broadcasting company and reached Linz and Munch.

“Fantasmi a Roma" is a theatrical comedy taken from the '60s Pietrangeli’s movie masterpiece, set in the Rome of the 60s, the speculation age, with an amazing cast (Edoardo De Filippo, Marcello Mastroianni, Sandra Milo, Vittorio Gassman, Tino Buazzelli and Lilla Brignone), written by Ettore Scola, Ennio Flajano and Sergio Amidei, with the music of Nino Rota.

“Fantasmi a Roma" aims to achieve an artistic reworking, to recovery the memory that asserts clearly where we came from, to affirm our cultural identity.

“Fantasmi a Roma" was conceived as an Italian comedy, that founds its roots in a theatrical tradition, now lost; it’s both poetic and ironic, it had the highest levels in Garinei and Giovannini’s works. The musical comedy has both refined and popular taste, and It combines opera and variety in a simple direct language, in speech and music, that never became vulgar.

“Fantasmi a Roma" is an accessible product for all audience, childs, young, old, families!

Fun, engaging, witty, leads to consideration and to the recovery of major issues related to the value of the family and society, it giving typical Italian sounds.

This is the silver thread that connects 3 people that meet together in an old theatre to tell each other our life…

Man and Woman, Love and Friendship, the family, the country and the company, the life and - perhaps - even death. All these topics must be able to make people play, joke, join and sometimes laugh…  and sometimes move some emotion to cry. The Theater must be disenchanted and have to be able to observe life from different point of view, even the most ridiculous. The counterpoint between the "full" and the “empty" words, the lost words, who have no more meaning.

Finally the only winner is the word that is be able to communicates.

The opera is divided into two parts. The first part tells the story of the cathedral, starting with the suggestive legend of the apparition of Madonna to William the Good. Follow the events properly as historical astronomical - religious rules by which the cathedral is built, the progressive growth of the structure and the arrival of the Benedictine monks. In the second part we celebrate the theological structure which, starting from the Old Testament comes to Christ Pantocrator and his Gospel, and this is projected along the history of the church. From the beauty of the mosaics it concludes the work a message of hope for today's mankind.

"Boccadoro the Traveller" in search of the inner essence of Life. Portsmouth, Virginia, in late 30’s.
